No. Open Lani and you're already in, with a name picked for you.
How does it know where I am? +
It doesn't use GPS. Everyone on the same network shares a room — that's the whole trick.
Can I keep my name? +
Set a passkey to claim it. No email or phone number required.
Is it actually private? +
You're anonymous by default. We don't collect email, phone, or location.
Who can see my messages? +
Only people in the same network's room — plus anyone you choose to DM.
